As the director of the Office of International Education (OIE), I would like to wish you a warm welcome from the campus of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin!

Building upon Marquette’s solid international foundation, OIE works closely with Deans, faculty, administrators and students to ensure that the university is at the forefront of international education.  As an office, we are dedicated to recruiting and advising diverse international students who enhance campus learning environments; developing vibrant partnerships and faculty exchange relationships with international institutions; creating innovative education abroad and service-learning opportunities; and integrating international education into curricular and co-curricular learning goals. We implement all of these efforts in the spirit of Ignatian tradition to foster authentic global citizens who live and work within a diverse world society; who continually reflect upon how their vocations contribute to global solidarity; and who promote lasting social justice within the global human family.

The Marquette University community and I would like to capture our initiatives as “Marquette Global” and warmly welcome you to become a part of our programs.
