
This program is designed to give high school students in-depth exposure to scientific, experience-related aspects of health care. Students will come to Marquette on 10 consecutive
Saturdays for a series of hands-on workshops dealing with important aspects of health care.
Eligibility
- Be a disadvantaged student (financially or educationally: e.g., qualify for the federal hot lunch program, be a first-generation college student or from an urban school setting, etc.)
- High school students from private or public schools
- At least a 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Interested in health careers
- Three letters of recommendation from high school teachers or guidance counselors (one must be from a science instructor)
