Marquette Interchange Update as of May 12, 2008
Work in progress consists of:
Forming the bridge deck for the future on-ramp to southbound I-43/eastbound I94 from 11th and Wisconsin Avenue over and south of Tory Hill.
Pouring bridge deck portions of westbound I-794, mainly south of Michigan/Tory Hill/Clybourn
Compacting earth fill and forming the roadway for the future on-ramp to westbound I-94 from 11th and Tory Hill
Pouring remaining portions of mainline southbound I-43, south of Tory Hill is complete.
Completion of four connector ramps to and from I-794 from both the north and south on I-43 and I-94.
Completion of I-94 from the south to the west.
Roadway work on Clybourn from Plankinton to 6th Street and on Michigan/Tory Hill/Clybourn from 8th to 12th Streets.
This portion of the project is 92 percent complete. The entire project is more than 95 percent complete. The scheduled final completion for all work on the Marquette Interchange is early-November of this year.
