"Which ramps are closed?" "What's a good alternate route?" These and many other questions are answered on mchange.org, the Wisconsin of Transportation's official Web site for the Marquette Interchange Project.

Road Construction Updates

The Marquette Interchange Reconstruction Project, which has been in progress since 2004, is nearing completion. All new lanes, ramps and exits will be open and operational by the end of August 2008. At that time primary access points to and from the University will change from what you may familiar with. The new entrance and exit ramps to and from I-94 and I-43 will be more convenient and in much closer proximity to the University. All new ramps exit and merge from the right. The exits names and numbers are marked along the freeway and in each case one large sign, with the University logo, will be located well ahead of each exit.

Minor work will continue until November 2008, when the project will be complete. There should be minimal lane restrictions or closures for the remainder of the project

Some of the hew ramps are currently open, while other will be opening on a weekly basis in the very near future. You can stay current by linking with your route below on this page.
