In order to better safeguard Marquette students studying abroad, the Office of International Education has recently adopted a comprehensive insurance package for participants in overseas academic programs. The insurance is offered through Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI), a leading study abroad insurance provider, and will become mandatory for all Marquette students studying overseas on January 1, 2008.
All Marquette students planning participating in an academic study abroad program are required to enroll in the Marquette overseas health insurance plan.
The Office of International Education facilitates all student enrollments. Please see our required forms page to download an enrollment form.
The cost is $32 per calendar month and covers accidents and medical expenses up to $100,000 with no network limitations. Brochures detaling the provisions under the Marquette policy can be obtained in the Office of International Education, AMU 425.
