El Camino de Santiago is a historic pilgrimage through northern Spain. While walking along its path for six to eight hours a day, students will learn the history of this religious and tourism phenomenon. Students will examine the Camino de Santiago in multiple facets: as a channel of cultural communication, a travel tradition, a ritual and a pligrimage.
Students will complete 3 credits in either Spanish or Theology. The program will be led by Dr. Eugenia Afinoguenova and Dr. Stephen Long.
This is a short-term faculty-led summer program.
