Located in the heart of London, City University was founded in 1894 and continues to contribute significantly to this capital city's academic, cultural and business life.
The university’s students hail from over 150 countries and benefit from the university’s internationally renowned experience of more than 100 years of teaching and learning. There are almost 10,000 students at City University and more than 40 percent are international; most of these students come from outside the European Union.

Facilities
Students have free access to e-mail and the Internet through computer laboratories that are open 12 hours daily. There is also a computer room with extended hours available 24 hours a day. The university also has a new library that houses nearly 350,000 books. The library catalogue can be accessed from anywhere in the university via its computer network.
The university has a student union that contains a shop, bar, dance floor and entertainment area. The union plans a wide range of activities including those related to sports, culture, politics and religion. Its Sports Centre offers a well-equipped fitness suite, an aerobics studio, a weight room, a sports hall, squash courts and a climbing wall.
The university dorms are very close to the school itself and also to many of the Underground (subway) stops. Students are within walking distance from the main part of Islington where they can find most of the necessities they will need for the semester.
Program Type:
This program is a Marquette-affiliated
program. As such, federal financial aid applies; Marquette grants
and scholarships do not apply.
Living:
Study abroad students are offered university accommodation of single study bedrooms in halls close to campus. All rooms have a telephone and an access point to the university computer network.
