Eichstätt Program Overview

Catholic University of Eichstaett The Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (Katholische Universitat - KU) enjoys a unique status as both a state university and also as a Catholic university. As such, students are able to benefit from the diversity and resources of a large state university while remaining united with all other Catholic universities throughout the world. Students also enjoy a tailored education with a student-faculty ratio of 11:1, which is above that of other leading German business schools.

Sports

The university offers a variety of sports to all students and staff members: badminton, basketball, fencing, soccer, jazz dance, paddling and swimming provide a break from academic life and an opprtunity to meet friends as well. Students who are interested in art or music can participate in drama, join the university choir or the big band, and organize movie nights.

Organizations

Campus-wide student organizations like AIESEC, the Market Team, the KHG - the Catholic University's student congregation - and other newer organizations are present on campus and available for international student participation.

Budgeting

As a note, KU encourages students to budget for at least 420-520 euros a month (excluding health insurance, clothes and travel expenses). Included in this budget are allowances for living accommodations, food and drink, books, study materials, and extra money for any leisure activities.
