Located at the heart of Strasbourg, the IECS business school is a part of the European Pole for Management and Economics, affiliated with Robert Schumann University and Louis Pasteur University. Its shared facitilities enable it to operate at peak effectiveness, serving some 3,500 students, 150 faculty members, 200 researchers and 500 professional speakers in 26,000 square meters.
Of the 29 business schools in France categorized as “Grandes Ecoles,” the IECS holds a unique legal status that enables it to combine the advantages of the university and those of the private sector. Its status offers it a high degree of autonomy in terms of development policies while still benefiting from the rich university infrastructure.
The IECS goal is to establish a pole of competencies in management and economics that will be recognized across Europe for teaching, research, interaction with economic and industrial arenas and its international focus. The synergies among teachers-researchers and students of the three divisions are facilitated by activities and structures promoting joint research and work.
The library at IECS is the largest library dedicated to management and economics in the east of France.
