Lille Program Overview

The Catholic University of Lille's offers exceptional academic and study abroad experience across its colleges.  In business, IÉSEG school of business and management is committed to a policy of international development; with an international student exchange program already established, the school aims to further its reputation in business management on an international level. The university's summer program is also very strong, and provides students a wonderful chance to develop their french skills in a beautiful setting.

Student Friendly Campus

One of France’s most private and dynamic campuses provides the setting for Lille Catholic. The school is within easy walking distance from student residences, restaurants and near the culture center of Lille, one of France’s largest student cities and European metropolises. The school is 24 hours a day for study rooms, cafeterias and five computer labs.  Lille students have access to almost limitless information, with twelve libraries including a central library with approximately 400,000 volumes. Students also take advantage of a fully equipped gym to take up a variety of sports such as soccer, rugby, handball, volleyball, basketball, fitness and many others. 

Program Type:

This is a Marquette-exchange program, so most financial aid generally applies. To learn more about how this program will affect your specific financial aid package, please see the Office of Student Financial Aid.

Living:

There are several university residences within a 5-minute walk that provide accommodation in individual bedrooms, some with private facilities. Prices vary depending on the degree of comfort. All rooms are leased for the academic year. More detailed information will be forwarded to students once their application form has been received.

Duration & Dates:

Fall term: early September to late December (early exams may be arranged for MU exchange students)
Spring term: early January to late May
Summer: early June to late June or early July to late July

Eligibility:

Most majors; minimum junior standing with strong French language skills (9 credits beyond FREN 004)

Language:

Courses taught in French (several business courses taught in English each semester)

Permit/Visa:

Visa required (Need to apply 2 months in advance)
