offering facilities for interactive communication,
secure submission of student assignments to
faculty, and online quizzes/examinations. Currently
Blackboard is actively used as a supplement to the
classroom instructional experience in over 100
courses serving over 3,000 students.

Lotus LearningSpace Release 2.5 offers an
environment for collaborative learning and
knowledge management. Five modules -- Schedule,
MediaCenter, Profiles, CourseRoom and Assessments
-- combine to deliver an integrated environment
that supports team-based, instructor-facilitated
learning.
