Blackboard® is a web-based tool which facilitates and supports online education, offering facilities for interactive communication, secure submission of student assignments to faculty, and online quizzes/examinations. Currently Blackboard is actively used as a supplement to the classroom instructional experience in over 100 courses serving over 3,000 students.

Distance Learning with Lotus Learning Space
Lotus LearningSpace Release 2.5 offers an environment for collaborative learning and knowledge management. Five modules -- Schedule, MediaCenter, Profiles, CourseRoom and Assessments -- combine to deliver an integrated environment that supports team-based, instructor-facilitated learning.

Marquette University Academic Webforum
An online environment in which faculty and students can interact with each other, share ideas, exchange information, express opinions, or simply chat about the topic at hand.
