Dick wrote the book on legal aspects of corporate finance. Literally. The casebook of the same name has been adopted at 22 U.S. law schools and was written during Dick’s 37-year career as a global business lawyer. He retired from Clifford Chance and is currently an adjunct professor of law at Fordham University while serving as a special master of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York.

A Person for Others Award

As a member of the Medical Mission Sisters, Joan’s mission is “to be a healing presence at the heart of a wounded world.” And she has done it in places as far reaching as India and Alaska. Joan also has been recognized by the Vatican for her many years of distinguished service to the Catholic Church.
