Distinguished Alumna of the Year Award

Bette A. LangDR. BETTE A. LANG, GRAD '93
Janesville, Wis.

With so many “of the year” awards to her name — educator of the year, administrator of the year, teacher of the year, volunteer of the year — it was really only a matter of time before someone recognized Bette’s entire career. Which, incidentally, began in 1972 at Rhinelander High School and continues today at George Williams College/Aurora University and Edgewood College.

Exchange Clubs of Greater Milwaukee Charitable Foundation, Inc.EXCHANGE CLUBS OF GREATER MILWAUKEE CHARITABLE FOUNDATION, INC.
Wauwatosa, Wis.

By virtue alone, volunteers make good companions because they do what they do out of sheer fidelity. A prime example: the three local affiliates of the National Exchange Club, which have supported a graduate research assistantship in Marquette’s Behavior Clinic, which was founded by the College of Education and Penfield Children’s Center.
