Selection Criteria — Areas for Recognition
- Outstanding Achievement in Management or Entrepreneurship
Founding or rising to a leadership position using their foundation of their College of Engineering degree from Marquette University.
- Innovation in Engineering
- As an inventor as evidenced by a major invention or a significant number of patents
- As an engineering designer as evidenced by developing policies or procedures that have been widely adopted throughout the profession
- As a researcher/academic who has developed a body of research work that has been recognized by peers as outstanding through professional society awards
- Contributions to the Profession or Society
- As a leader of a Professional Society (ASCE, ASME, IEEE, etc.)
- As a leader of a Government Agency
- As a leader of a community group or non-governmental agency
- As someone who made some other significant contribution to society
