Thanks for Coming Home
for Reunion Weekend 2005!

Marquette's alumni flocked to campus in record numbers to celebrate the 2005 Reunion Weekend. Alumni enjoyed a weekend packed with parties, tours, dinners and educational opportunities. There were also some reunion "firsts" this year, like an Ethnic Alumni Association reunion celebration, a football reunion, and a special party organized by the class of '85.

Reunion Guys

His field of dreams

Orlando “Pancho” Palesse, a 1943 graduate of the College of Business Administration, manages both the 65-plus and 70-plus Milwaukee Seniors softball teams. The 82-year-old, who passed up an offer to play for the Eau Claire Bears to attend Marquette on an athletic scholarship, now takes his Milwaukee Seniors across the country for tournament play.

Scott Schultz, Bus Ad '79, and his family have opened a restaurant in Hayward, Wisconsin on the Chippewa Flowage, Schultz's Restaurant and Bar. This is a major career change after 23 years in banking in Chicago.

Tim Wilson, Jour '80, and his son Brian bicycled 550 miles around New England July 9-15 to raise funds for the American Diabetes Association. Tim's wife, Marlene, and their two other sons, Sean and Colin, also participated.

Megan Taylor, Nurs '03, married Matthew Drew, Bus Ad '03, at Gesu Church on June 3, 2005.

Shaun Fagan, Comm '92, and Bridget (O'Brien) Fagen, Nurs '91, welcomed their son, Jameson Michael, into the world on June 17, 2005.
