- Zilber Hall opens for business
The new four-story building at 12th Street and Wisconsin Avenue unites the offices of the Bursar, Registrar, Student Financial Aid and Undergraduate Admissions, along with other administrative offices. It is named in honor of Milwaukee real estate developer and philanthropist and double Marquette alumnus Joe Zilber and his wife, Vera.

Congratulations to the students who will participate in Mid-year Commencement Dec. 19. Roby Blust, dean of admissions and enrollment planning, appeared last week on a live Webcast co-sponsored by the Wall Street Journal and college search Web site Unigo. “Inside the Admissions Office” featured Marquette along with admission deans from Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Vermont, Wesleyan University, Williams College, Bryn Mawr College and Grinnell College.
