Marquette president wins leadership award
Marquette University President Robert A. Wild, S.J., has won the
Chief
Executive Leadership
Award for Region V of the Council for
Advancement and Support of Education. The annual
award honors
university presidents "who have provided sustained and successful
leadership
and vision to their institutions."

- Dental school opens new clinic
This week the Marquette School of Dentistry will open a state-of-the-art community
clinic to serve adolescents and adults on Milwaukee’s northside. Dr. Albert Abena
will oversee the clinic, which will be staffed with part-time dental and dental
hygiene faculty members as well as Marquette dental students. Read more

- Law School holds Restorative Justice Initiative Conference
City leaders, criminal justice experts and others convened at the Law School today
to look at the successes and challenges of Milwaukee’s Safe Streets initiative.

The Kohler Center for Entrepreneurship is accepting submissions for Marquette
University's
7th annual
business plan competition through Friday, November 14.

competition
provides a learning
environment
in which budding entrepreneurs develop
their
business
ideas
and receive feedback from faculty and experienced entrepreneurs.
