Marquette University

August 2013

Dear alumni volunteers,

On and off campus, your enthusiasm for Marquette and willingness to share your time and energy to help your alma mater make it possible for us to reach and connect with our growing Marquette family around the world. Thank you for staying engaged with us and channeling your passion for Marquette into serving the students, parents, alumni and friends of the university.

Marquette’s network of active and dedicated alumni volunteers makes the university stronger by strengthening ties with the community and to each other and introducing new generations of students to this great Catholic and Jesuit university. On a personal level, volunteering connects you to other Marquette alumni, creating opportunities for professional development and personal growth as you experience the joy and satisfaction of making a positive difference in the lives of others. Whether you’ve provided leadership for our alumni association, mentored a student, helped coordinate a gathering of students or alumni, shared valuable professional advice by speaking at a Marquette program, participated in a service project, helped with fundraising, or simply referred a potential student – you are an ambassador for the university and your readiness to give back, get involved and have an impact is greatly appreciated.

To all of the generous alumni who give so freely of their time and talents, thank you for all that you do for Marquette.

Sincerely,
pilarz
