Sodexo Circle of Customer Excellence Recipient Rodney DeBerry

Rodney DeBerry, Marquette Place's Einstein Bros. retail manager, was the recipient of the Sodexo Circle of Customer Excellence for December 2007/January 2008.  Rodney received this accolade for his dedication and willingness to go the extra mile for his customers. 

Nominated by Rachel Wiesner, director of catering, Rodney was recognized for excelling as a team member with a specific occurance being cited where he provided assistance to a customer who had an urgent order.  Rodney was transferred a call that would not normally come through his area, yet he took the time to address the customer's needs, provide them with ordering options and suggestions, and ultimately process the order in full. 

As Wiesner states in her nomination, "On a daily basis, Rodney embodies the philosophy behind the Circle of Customer Excellence.  He is enthusiastic and eager to serve.  I continue to be impressed with his dedication to quality customer service knowing that had he transferred the call a second time - the circle of customer excellence would have been broken."
