Brooks Lounge will open two hours earlier Monday to Friday beginning November 30
Students will have a new place to hang out and study in the Alumni Memorial Union (AMU) late morning to lunch time Monday through Friday. The Brooks Lounge, located on the first floor of the AMU, will begin opening at 10 a.m. Monday to Friday starting Monday, November 30. The current opening time for week days has been noon.
The Alumni Memorial Union made the decision to open the Brooks Lounge earlier Monday to Friday in response to recommendations from Marquette University Student Government (MUSG) and from students seeking out additional study space, specifically in an area with booths like those that can be found in Brooks Lounge.
New Brooks Lounge hours beginning November 30 will be:
- Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
- Saturday to Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
