The Honors Program is open to academically qualified students in any of Marquette’s seven colleges — Arts and Sciences, Business, Communication, Education, Engineering, Health Sciences or Nursing.
Historically, we have been fortunate to receive many outstanding applications. Extremely competitive applicant pools put us in the unenviable position of having to deny acceptance to many excellent students. In recent years, the Honors Program has received approximately 650 applications for just 100 offers of admission.
Applying to the Honors Program
Students may apply to the Honors Program during their senior year in high school or during their first year at Marquette.
New freshmen applications to the Honors Program are reviewed on a pooled, competitive basis with a deadline of February 15.
Current Marquette University freshmen can contact the Honors Program Office during their first (fall) semester at Marquette to inquire about application to the program.
