Each level has a specified assessment system or cycle to gain feedback about student learning and to take actions that will improve student learning. Each level prepares reports that are reviewed by the next level. The entire Marquette assessment system can be visualized as a linking series of assessment systems. Most analysis of student learning for purposes of student learning outcomes assessment will be at the completion of programs and at the institutional level.
The Office of the Provost, with the assistance of the University Assessment Committee and the Office of Institutional Research, will coordinate the Marquette assessment system and provide an annual report on student learning and the evaluation of the Marquette assessment systems to the President and the Board of Trustees.
