Symphonic Band |
The Symphonic Band is devoted to creating great music with limited performance demands. The enthusiasm of the students allows the band to achieve excellent results with limited rehearsal time. All skill levels are welcome. Auditions are held for chair placement only. No one with a love for music is denied admission.

The Symphonic Band rehearses every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:00pm to 4:50pm. Attendance requirements for Symphonic Band must also be met in order to be eligible to participate in Pep Band. Students interested in registering for Symphonic Band should register for MUSI 030. Please see the How To Join page or Contact Us page for more information.

The Pep Band is an ensemble
exclusively for Symphonic Band members. This ensemble with attitude
performs at all home basketball games, all basketball tournament games,
and other athletics-related events. Please see the Pep Band page or Contact Us page for more information.

Jazz Band |
The Jazz Ensemble is the
soul of
the Marquette University band program. The Jazz Ensemble rehearses every Tuesday evening. The first session
rehearses from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. The second session reherses from
7:00pm to 9:00pm. To be eligible for Jazz Ensemble, the student must be
a member of the Symphonic Band or Orchestra. Please register for MUSI
031 if you are interested. More information will be given during
