How to apply

Applications for the 2012 summer program must be received by February 1, 2012.  Application forms may be printed out from this site by downloading the application (pdf). An application may also be obtained from the Department of Biological Sciences, 109, Wehr Life Sciences Building, PO Box 1881, Milwaukee, WI 53201 or by contacting Deborah Weaver via e-mail.

Qualifications

Students should have completed their sophomore or junior year by the start of the program with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. Minimum course requirements are the completion of a full year of college biology, general chemistry, and organic chemistry with laboratories. One semester of calculus and additional advanced work in biology are preferred, but not required. Students who graduate before December, 2012, are not eligible. Students may not enroll in classes or hold outside employment during the term of the internship.
