Instructor of Practice, Supply Chain Management

Bill joined the Department of Management in April, 2018 to help launch the Masters of Science in Supply Chain Management program. He brings over 35 years’ experience in industry as a leader in supply chain, strategy and finance. He was Vice-President of Breakthrough Fuel, a unique supply chain firm which aids shippers in managing the cost of energy that moves their goods to market. Prior to that he was a leader in the Strategy organization for Kimberly-Clark Corporation’s consumer business in Europe and North America.

While at Kimberly-Clark, Bill led the transformation of supply chain management practices as part of K-C’s “Go To Market” initiative. He also had leadership roles in supply chain in the personal care business and in finance at both the business and corporate levels. He started his career with Deloitte in Chicago.

Bill brings a deep, supply chain, strategy and financial background in consumer products, manufacturing and start-ups to the program. He is excited to share his experience and insights with students to help them become supply chain leaders that will guide their organizations into the next decade and beyond. A life-long learner, he is looking forward to new things he can add to his portfolio!

Bill has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Illinois University and has completed graduate executive programs in supply chain strategy and operations at Penn State University and Michigan State University. He has also completed a graduate executive program in global business management at Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is a Certified Process Master and a Certified Public Accountant.
