Beth Krey takes over as Undergraduate Dean, Joe Terrian retires

Following Joe Terrian’s retirement in December, Beth Krey has taken over as the new Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Programs.

Beth has extensive experience in higher education and at Marquette, having served as the Associate and Assistant Director of the Center for Supply Chain Management for the past six years.  Prior to that, Beth held various roles at Arizona State University and Pius XI High School, in Milwaukee, WI.

"Working with our College of Business students, alumni, faculty and campus wide and external constituents has been an absolute pleasure. I am humbled by the opportunity to serve a broader population of students as Assistant Dean," said Beth.

After 33 years working at Marquette University, Joe Terrian retired in December.

In addition to serving as the Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Programs for the last 32 years, Joe has spent 30 summers leading the University of Antwerp summer travel program, has taught over 19,000 students in LEAD, Sports Marketing, and Study abroad courses, and was awarded the 2004 Excellence in University Service award. He will remain with the university through the summer to lead the 2018 Rome and Antwerp summer travel programs.

Joe looks forward to traveling more and spending time caring for family and friends, with an eye on eventually moving to a warmer climate in Arizona or Nevada.

"It has been a privilege to work at this fine university.  I will always treasure the many relationships with colleagues, students and alumni," said Joe.
