Web-Based Courses

Marquette University, School of Education, College of Professional Studies, and College of Nursing offer a more flexible and convenient path to graduate level education through web-based courses. Web-based courses are distinguished from traditional face - to - face courses in that the instructor and student are not physically in the same location during at least 80% of the instruction. As is the case with Marquette courses, students "log on" from home or work and interact with the instructors via carefully designed discussions, debates, and journal submissions as well as a variety of required papers and projects. These interactions are all asynchronous to allow the learner the flexibility and convenience of planning when and where they "come to class". Marquette University uses Desire2Learn as the course management system for all web-based courses.
