Dr. Ruchi Shukla
Instructor/ Upper-division Laboratory Coordinator
Dr. Ruchi Shukla obtained her M.S. degree from University of Rajasthan in 1996 and M.Tech. and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), New Delhi, India in 1998 and 2002, respectively. She worked as a Research Scientist in Chembiotek, India from 2002- 2004. Dr. Shukla was a Postdoctoral Research Associate (2004-2010) at Marquette University before joining the faculty at Marquette University in August 2010.
Dr. Shukla is involved in teaching upper division laboratory courses in Analytical Chemistry (chem 3201 and Chem3210), Inorganic Chemistry (Chem 3320), Physical Chemistry (Chem3420) and Spectroscopy course (Characterization of Organic Compounds) jointly offered to graduate and undergraduate students (Chem4130/Chem5130).
Dr. Shukla’s research interests are in the area of Analytical Chemistry, Molecular Sensors and Supramolecular Organic Chemistry.
