Biography
Thomas Xue, Ph. D. candidate in Prof. Chuck Wilkie's group between 1992-1996, worked on graft copolymerization and flame retardancy. After he finished his degree in chemistry, he joined Prof. Don Baird's group in Virginia Tech as a research associate. There, Thomas worked in thermoplastic liquid crystalline reinforced composite materials. Since April 1998, Thomas has been working for 3M Company, as a senior product development engineer, in the Occupational
Health and Environmental Safety Division.
