Biography
Professor Wilkie received his B.S. degree from the University of Detroit and Ph.D. from Wayne State University. He has served the Milwaukee Section of the American Chemical Society in several capacities including Chairperson (1985-86). In 1992 Professor Wilkie was recipient of the ACS Milwaukee Section Award. He was a Fulbright-Hays scholar at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles in 1991-92. He is a member of the editorial board and a contributing editor of Polymer News and has been involved in the organization of the annual polymer additives conference for several years. He has taught a number of short courses on fire retardancy.
