Dr. Baker received his Ph.D. from Arizona State University in 1999. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Medical University of South Carolina before joining the faculty at Marquette University in October of 2002. His research investigates the neurobiology of drug addiction.

BISC 120,
Pharmacology
BISC 120 examines the fundamentals of human pharmacology and basic principles dictating drug actions within the human body. The emphasis of BISC 120 is on the cellular mechanisms, physiological responses, adverse reactions, drug interactions, and clinical indications of common therapeutic agents accompanied by an in-depth discussion on the pathological conditions for which these agents are used to treat. Prereq: BISC 007 or BIOL 100 & BISC 145 or BISC 015.
