Courses

Principles of Human Anatomy and Physiology, BISC 015

slide

Principles of Human Anatomy and Physiology provides a basis for understanding the structure and function of the human. Students enrolled in this course are typically majoring in Dental Hygiene, Exercise Science and Nursing. This course may be taken by students majoring in any discipline; however, BISC 015 does not fulfill the requirements for majors in Biomedical Sciences. There are four hours of lecture, one hour quiz/discussion, and a three hour laboratory session each week. Laboratory sessions use plastic models to identify and understand the functional relationships among the various body structures. Examinations/quizzes include: four non-cumulative lecture exams (multiple choice, true/false and matching), three laboratory exams (anatomical identification), and six quizzes (multiple choice, true/false, matching).

Bulletin Course Description:

Principles of Human Anatomy and Physiology is an introduction to the structures and functions of the human body. Laboratory included.
