Dr. Rajala received his Ph.D. in Anatomy (Experimental Embryology and Teratology) from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1976 and his B.A. in Biology from the University of Colorado in 1972. He earned his B.S.P.T. in Physical Therapy from Marquette University in 1988. Dr. Rajala joined the faculty at Marquette University as an Assistant Professor in 1979 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 1985.

Human Gross Anatomy, BISC 130
The course is designed for students enrolled in the Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant programs. All regions of the human body are presented in lecture and studied in a cadaver dissection laboratory.

Bulletin Course Description:
A human gross anatomy course including lecture and a cadaver dissection laboratory. Anatomy of the limbs, back, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and head and neck is approached on a regional basis. Functional aspects of musculoskeletal structures are emphasized.

Biomedical Systems 1 and 2, BISC 415/416 (Gross Anatomy)
The courses are designed for students enrolled in the School of Dentistry. All regions of the human body are presented in lecture with special emphasis on head and neck structures and an introduction to neuroanatomy. The head and neck, thoracic, abdominal and pelvic regions are studied in a cadaver dissection laboratory.

Modules 1 and 2 of systems-based courses integrating anatomy, physiology and pathology including dental clinical correlates.
