A reading and/or research program under the direct supervision of a faculty member of the Department of Biomedical Sciences. Prereq: Consent of Department Chair
Undergraduate research is a great way for students to gain research experience, enhance their resume and develop strong letters of recommendation.
Undergraduate students interested in research experience may participate in labs within the Biomedical Sciences department for credit.
Students spend 3-4 hours per week in the lab for each credit hour.
Each semester, participating students present their research at an undergraduate research symposium. Interested students should contact individual faculty directly. The following faculty are currently recruiting students:
