William Ebben is a faculty member and researcher in Exercise Science. He has been a strength and conditioning coach or coordinator with the Green Bay Packers, US Olympic Education Center, Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin. He also has served as a psychotherapist at the University of Wisconsin, Luther College and Northern Michigan University. Previously, Dr. Ebben has taught exercise science courses at Northeren Michigan University, Waukesha County Technical College and Concordia University Wisconsin. Dr. Ebben also works as a personal trainer with local athletes.
In addition to teaching and research in his present position as an assistant professor, Dr. Ebben has presented/co-presented his ideas and research at a variety of national and international conferences including meetings of the International Society of Biomechanics in Sport, the American College of Sports Medicine, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the Great Lake Strength, Conditioning and Fitness Association and the American Society of Exercise Physiologists.
Dr. Ebben's research interest includes plyometrics, speed development, gender differences and strength/power training methods.
