Integrative Neuroscience Research Center (INRC) serves to promote the exchange of ideas among Marquette neuroscience research faculty members, thereby increasing opportunities for collaborative research, acquisition of resources, attraction of high quality faculty and students, and strengthening of educational offerings in this area. The INRC is comprised of over 30 faculty members, and meets bi-monthly around a seminar series. It serves Marquette students and faculty by providing a richer and more formal neuroscience environment, as well as the provision of summer research apprenticeships within laboratories of center members. The INRC enables Marquette University to use its collective strength in neuroscience to establish a reputation for excellence in this highly visible and expanding field.

The INRC is governed by an administrative committee comprised of five members representing different departmental units:

James Buchanan, PhD, Biological Sciences

William E. Cullinan, PhD, Biomedical Sciences (Director)

Alexander Ng, PhD, Exercise Science

Kristy Nielson, PhD, Psychology

Dr. Brian Schmit, PhD, Biomedical Engineering
