About Our Program


PA

The physician assistant program at Marquette University offers several pathways for entry into this truly rewarding clinical career. The PA career was recently ranked as the third fastest growing profession through the year 2012, with an average starting salary of over $60,000 a year.

The program blends freshman and sophomore courses with three years of professional PA education, culminating in a bachelor of science in biomedical sciences and a master of physician assistant studies — in just five years.

Applicants can get the most from Marquette's Jesuit experience by beginning their college studies as freshmen majoring in biomedical sciences and declaring pre-PA status.

The program does offer preferential admission to Marquette University on campus students that being their college studies as freshman pre-PA Biomedical sciences majors. The program selects applicants from this pool of internal applicants before selecting the remainder of an admitted class from the off campus, external applicant pool.
