Third Professional Phase Year

Clinical Year
A Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies requires successful completion of 33 credits of Clinical Clerkship experiences, in addition to a 6 credit Master's Capstone Project. Required Supervised Clinical Experiences include 3 eight-week rotations (Family Practice, Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine), 2 four-week rotations (Pediatrics and Adult General Surgery), and a total of twelve weeks of elective rotations (3 four-week or 1 eight-week and 1 four-week rotations) offered in various medical disciplines. The clinical year starts in May following the completion of the second professional phase year.
