A bachelor's degree with a major in health sciences
is awarded after four years for those admitted to the
program as undergraduates.

Fifth Year /Third Professional Phase Year

Clinical Year
A Masters degree in the Physicians Assistant Program will require a senior project plus completion of 3, eight-week clerkships and 2 four-week clerkships. Required eight-week clerkships include Family Practice, Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Required four-week clerkships are Pediatrics and (Adult) General Surgery. The student completes the final year with 3 four-week electives offered in various medical specialties.
