Vince was born and raised on Long Island, N.Y.. He received a
B.A. in English in 1969 from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
In 1968 he became a Marist Brother and later taught high school in
Lawrence,
Mass. and Chicago, Ill. In 1976 he received a B.S. in nursing and
a certificate in family studies from St. Xavier College in Chicago,
Ill. In 1978
he graduated from the physician assistant program at the Marshfield
Clinic in Marshfield, Wis.
He has practiced pediatrics as a P.A. since 1978 in Ladysmith, Wis.
(15 month), Sturgeon Bay, Wis. (8 yrs.) and Milwaukee, Wis. (16 yrs.).
Areas
of special interest are the neonate, adolescence, ENT, immunizations,
parenting, child development, child abuse, and dermatology.
In his life outside of Marquette, Vince is very involved in a variety of volunteer work as well as acting with local community theater groups and performing liturgical drama for his church. He also has an adult son.
