Dawn M. Smith is a 1986 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a bachelor of science in physician assistant studies. She received her master’s degree from the University of Nebraska Medical School.

She is a certified physician assistant with over 15 years experience in primary care for women and has been on faculty here at Marquette since the program’s beginning in 1997-1998. She teaches in the didactic portion of the second year of the professional program. Dawn is also very involved and a long-standing board member of the Wisconsin Association of Physician Assistants.
