has been selected as a prestigious Catherine Worthingham Fellow of the APTA (FAPTA). This award signifies the highest honor in the profession of physical therapy for longstanding and significant contribution to the profession over Don’s entire career. He becomes the third Marquette faculty member to win this award following Dr. M. Patricia Murray, FAPTA, and Mr. Luther Kloth, FAPTA.

, DPT-6 student, has won the 2008 Mary McMillan Scholarship Award this year! This is the top award given to the physical therapy students nationally. About 5 of thee are given each year. Each of the 212 programs can nominate only one student for this award. This is the eighth Marquette PT student to win this award since 1990 and the seventh since 1996. Erin will be accepting her award in June, 2008, in San Antonio for the APTA convention. Thanks to Dr. Sandra Hunter for all of her mentorship of Erin which was a major factor in garnering this award.
is receiving the Spirit of Philanthropy Award from the Foundation for Physical Therapy. This award is granted to people with a longstanding history of service to the Foundation which is the arm of our professional organization that funds physical therapy research. This award was for his work with the Marquette Challenge with was featured recently in Marquette Matters.
