
The College of Health Sciences Student Council is open to all students within the college. The mission of the council is to bring Health Science students together to promote health education and service to the Marquette community, and to the greater Milwaukee community. The council sponsors many events on health awareness and wellness and participates in monthly volunteer projects to foster involvement in the community. The council promotes cooperation and understanding among students, faculty, administration, and alumni by providing a balance of social and professional activities with the intention of developing a professional attitude among Health Sciences students.

The Biomedical Sciences Association is a student-run organization that serves as a resource for all the students in our major. The main goal of the organization is to foster interaction among all members of the department and to create a sense a unity within the major. The group sponsors many activities throughout the academic year. In addition, the Biomedical Sciences Association provides monthly health-related service opportunities as another means to allow students to interact with fellow students and faculty and to make a difference in the greater community. Besides offering educational and service opportunites, our organization hosts social activities to foster unity among the students and faculty. To keep our department informed, we regularly update our webpage www.mubmsa.com and distribute a monthly newsletter containing department news, upcoming events, and exciting opportunities. The Biomedical Sciences Association is a vibrant organization that has served as a useful resource for all the members of our department, and it will continue to do so as our major continues to grow.
The Clinical Laboratory Science Student Council seeks to uphold the values of Marquette University through service, leadership, faith and excellence. We serve others by promoting the education of younger generations through the Young Scholar Program. We show leadership through our work in the hospitals in the greater Milwaukee community. We acknowledge the requirement of faith as a step towards professionalism. In addition, we achieve excellence through our hard work and dedication in the classroom, laboratory and the greater Marquette community.

The Exercise Science and Athletic Training Student Organization is open to all Exercise Science or Athletic Training students at Marquette. This group provides a link between students, faculty, and professionals. The students are dedicated to keeping up with the latest information in the Exercise Science and Athletic Training fields. The Organization is devoted to promoting health education to the Marquette community and the greater Milwaukee area. Partaking in various charity events around the community is also an important aspect of this group.
The Pupose/Mission of Physical Therapy Student Council is the coordinating instrument for all Physical Therapy events. Its purpose is to stimulate a professional attitude among Marquette University physical therapy students; to promote cooperation and understanding among students, and with the faculty and administration; to constitute an organized voice to the students in the MUPT curriculum; to foster cooperation with allied medical professionals; and to organize and support events fostering the educational, community, and social growth of students.

MUSAAAPA is the university-based student association of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. With involvement in both the state and national governing bodies, MUSAAAPA provides a link between the student educational experience and the professional practice environment. We are committed to improving the quality of, and access to health care both here in our community, and nationwide. It is our mission to expand the public’s awareness of our program and the Physician Assistant profession.

The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is an organization available for students interested in the study of communication sciences and disorders. It is a pre-professional organization in which students have the opportunity to meet other students in their field of study as well as learn more about the professions of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Membership to NSSLHA is available at both the national and local level and is open to undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral students enrolled full- or part-time in a communication sciences program or related major.
