The
services of the Speech and Hearing Clinic are available to Marquette students
and their dependents, at no cost. Available services include speech and
hearing evaluations, and therapy for communication disorders. For

- Individual therapy for speech and language disorders
(including laryngectomy, voice and stuttering)
- Group therapy is available for adults with language disorders due to stroke or other neurological impairments, and for children with delayed speech and language development.
- Group and individual services for accent reduction.
Personnel
Our Speech and Hearing Clinic is training ground for Marquette University's speech pathology program. All diagnosis and therapy is closely supervised by licensed clinical staff who are certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
Referrals
Referrals are accepted from any source. Diagnostic and therapy summary reports are provided upon written request.
Age Group
From 24 months through adolescence, and adults.
Fees
Speech/language and/or hearing evaluation: $75
Therapy fees per 10-week semester:
- Therapy, 1x/week: $75
- Therapy, 2x/week: $150
- Therapy, 3x/week: $200
- Group therapy, 1 hour/week: $35
- Group therapy, 2 hours/week: $70
- Group therapy, 3 hours/week: $100
- Group therapy, 4 hours/week: $150
- Group therapy, 6 hours/week: $200
Fee Schedule
No one is denied services because of inability to pay. Arrangements can be made to reduce fees if payment cannot be met.

An initial speech and language diagnostic will be scheduled. Evaluating personnel will determine if you or your child would benefit from therapy, and will make appropriate recommendations.
Therapy Times
The Speech and Hearing Clinic operates on a semester basis, including summer. If no immediate openings are available, every effort will be made to enroll you or your child in the next semester. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. During summer months, diagnosis and therapy sessions are held mornings only.
