Erdman, K. "Urban Literacy as Language" 2004. Funding agency: Marquette University Urban Focused Curriculum Enhancement Grant. $3,500 funded. Interdepartmental enrollment giving students experience working jointly with other disciplines. Includes a multidisciplinary clinical component on- and off-campus for literacy development in children with disabilities, ages 3-21. Course and clinical component seek partnerships with Marquette University neighborhood schools.
Other Information
Erdman is president of WSHA (July 1, 2004 - June 30, 2006). She is also involved with the faculty committee and community advisory board associated with the Bilingual English Spanish certification, available for graduate students. Erdman also coordinates a service learning opportunity, and arranges and supervises school practicum experiences for graduate students. She is currently developing a caseload of autistic children for the campus clinic.
