Since its beginnings
in 1923, Marquette's Department of Speech Pathology
and Audiology and Speech and
Hearing Clinic have been helping individuals
regain abilities many take for granted. In assisting those
with speaking and hearing needs, Marquette students, alumni, faculty
and staff have heped improve the lives of thousands of people, contributing to their quality
of life and enhancing their confidence.
In our new $2.3 million facility in Harriet Barker Cramer
Hall, we now have the space to double the number of
people our clinic serves, the advanced technology needed
to improve patient care and the education of our students,
and the ability to build upon our legacy of professional
excellence.
Simply put , our new space allows us to more effectively support Marquette's Catholic, Jesuit mission of serving those in need.
