The Fourth Annual CHS Biomedical Sciences Summer Research Program Student Research Day was held on Friday August 3, 2007 in the Grand Ballroom, Alumni Memorial Unionl. Students formally presented their research findings to Marquette faculty, students, staff, and administrators during a poster session. Following introductory remarks by Dr. William E. Cullinan, Dean of the College of Health Sciences, a keynote address was given by Dr. Jack Brooks, Retired Dean of the College of Health Sciences.
Four student research presentation awards were given based on evaluations by faculty mentors. This year’s awardees were (1st place) Andy Weyer, (2nd place) Cody Miles, (3rd place) Danielle Miskulin, and Holly Caretta. The session was followed by a luncheon at which certificates and awards were distributed.
