The participants of the CHS Biomedical Sciences Summer Research Program once again had a great research experience this summer. With 43 applicants, 22 students were accepted and worked in the laboratories of fourteen different faculty mentors throughout the summer on a wide range of research projects.
The Program finished on August 3rd with a juried poster presentation at the Grand Ballroom in the Alumni Memorial Unionl with Dr. Jack Brooks, Retired Dean of the College of Health Sciences presenting the keynote address. Winner for the poster presentation were: 1st place - Andy Weyer, 2nd place - Cody Miles, and shared third place were Danielle Miskulin and Holly Caretta. Congratulations to our winners and a special thanks to everyone for their continuing support and congratulations to all the participants.
