Sports Writer, Bozeman Daily Chronicle (Bozeman, MT)
From day one of school, I guarantee I spent most of my free time – and college life – in the basement of Johnston Hall. Being a sports journalist was what I had aspired to do since I was 12, and the endless nights and weeks spent as a member of the Marquette Tribune pushed me to where I am today. Writing the wrestling program’s obituary, 9/11, Al McGuire’s death, that long bus ride to cover the Marquette women in Iowa – those are the things that stick with me most. And the friendships I made down in the basement of Johnston Hall.
