Susan Mountin

Director for Faculty, Manresa Project (Milwaukee, WI)

The skills I developed at Marquette’s College of Journalism have served me well throughout my professional life. Writing, reporting, interviewing, understanding public opinion surveys, and persuasive writing are ‘portable skills’ that transfer to a wide variety of professions and disciplines – even ministry. I am grateful for great teachers like David Host, Albion Ross and Jim Arnold, who held our feet to the fire, demanding clear thinking and at all costs good clear writing. Ed Pepan created the crucial bridge between our lives as students and our contributions and professional development as alumni. All is gratitude.
